The sheriff
Bigby Wolf
Bigby is the Big Bad Wolf, working as Fabletown's sheriff and trying to pass for a tired man in a coat. Wikipedia credits Adam Harrington, independently confirmed by the June 2026 publisher announcement. The Big Bad Wolf identity connects the character to familiar fairy tales. He can still become a wolf. The final fight with Bloody Mary uses that shape. What kind of sheriff he is depends on the player: people in town remember the threats and the restraint.

What the player is actually choosing
IGN's review treats Bigby as a man the town is ready to fear. Pay Faith, stop hitting Beast, jail the Crooked Man, let Nerissa walk: each one is a vote about whether the sheriff is doing the job or enjoying the teeth. The remaster does not add a morality meter with a published number. It keeps the memory. NPCs bring it up later, which is the whole design.
PlayStation Blog says the wolf was rebuilt for this release. That is a visual change. It is not a new personality.
